Cabbies begins with premium, flue-cured Virginias, each wrapper leaf carefully selected by hand and smoothed out. The filler is high grade Virginia leaf mixed with a generous portion of Perique. The leaves are then hand-spun into a dense rope and then pressed for at least a week to allow the natural sugars to marry perfectly over time.The resulting rope is then sliced into its characteristic thin, circular discs. The natural sweet taste of the Virginia leaf is given a spicykick from the Perique.
