InterTabac 2025
In September we once again exhibited at InterTabac 2025 in Dortmund, Germany. It is the world's largest trade fair event for the tobacco industry show casing tobacco products and accessories and in recent years, an awful lot of vaping products.
It is an opportunity for us to meet our international customers who distribute and market our tobacco to their respective countries and meet prospective new distributors from around the world as well as connect with suppliers.
This year we were also show casing three new products:
Cabbies Rope - By popular demand we are now offering Cabbies' in rope form. Still the same Bright Virginia leaf with perique threaded through and a touch of added sweetness all wrapped in hand picked whole leaves, spun into rope on the old Twist machines and then cooked before being pressed for at least a week.
Full Virginia Mixture - Due to the popularity of Samuel Gawith's Full Virginia Mixture, we have now produced a ribbon cut from the exact same leaf, 100% Bright Virginia's.
Dark Birds Eye Mixture - One of the oldest blends made by Gawith's; there is mention of Birds Eye blends dating back to 1880's with Dark Birds Eye being made a century ago. It was one of the first ribbon cut tobaccos made by the company. Unavailable in recent years, the Gawith team have worked hard to source the leaf components of dark fired leaf and mid-rib (stem) to give the impression of bird's eyes. A rich, full smoke now back in its original iteration.
